• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Do you have a hobby that requires certain skills or study?

I had to google him and it would seem you are correct.. without his intervention Wellington would’ve been defeated.

lol !
I played in loads of bands tbh..and different styles..

I can imagine the conservatives.. being very aggressive towards the change in youth culture.. but I guess that happened everywhere.. and still happens today..
Lately it seems like the young people are being very aggressive toward older people. The whole 'boomer' thing for example.

Nice train collection and Porsche!!! What colour do they call that? It’s delicious 😋
Thanks. It's graphite blue. I ordered it without seeing one. It looks really cool but doesn't photograph that well. I bought a Bronco Sport, which is kind of like a fancy Honda Element, for the winter time and wanted a grey one, but the only Badlands I could find was a similar color. I'm going to take a pic together this spring lol!

I'm gonna 'guess' from the cropped photo it's a Cayman ...............

I have the convertible version aka the Volkswagen Porsche, in 'Speed Yellow' which is my summer driver for the past 11 years .......

***was gonna post a pic but the 'attach files' feature is currently not functioning, again***

I'm a 'boomer' and I respect all but I also have plenty of firearms and matching ammo; that's an old skool fashion statement for the younger folks that maybe don't know. 👍

One of my hobbies is modifying guitars and the electronics. I have an Electronics Engineering Technician diploma from way back in the early 1990's. The studies included computers, PLC (Omron & Allen Bradley), robotics, circuit board making, soldering, drafting, etc. I have around 25 guitars and some of them I modifying by installing new pickups or adding switches, etc.

I'm truly amazed how technology has come along since I went to college. It's been over 30 years but it feels like yesterday. I always think what if I went back in time to college with my smartphone and everyone saw it...they would be amazed and blown away with what it can do compared to computers of that time. But most of us take this wonderful technology for granted as time marches on. ;)
