• THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING! We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and now have to move to a new host. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • WE ARE MOVING THE LES PAUL FORUM TO A NEW HOSTING PROVIDER OVER THE NEXT 5-10 DAYS. We will experience downtime during that period. Please be patient and have confidence that we will return! Many thanks, Mike Slubowski, Admin

Another great addition to the ThroBak product line, Butyrate M-69 rings! These are 100% ThroBak made here in the USA to vintage specs.. These will NOT break guaranteed! Correct injection mold gate and material assures no breaking. The tooling was hand done in Kalamazoo and with and eye on copying all of the vintage details and "flaws" of the vintage rings. Available in Bone, Cream and black to cover all the vintage tints. Get with different levels of aging. Check them out on the ThroBak web site!

These are the best rings I've ever seen/used. Everyone else says how accurate their rings are...ah, em...not! The Throbak's are the ones I've found to be exactly like the ones Gibson made!

Ive been looking for black rings for a long while and the price is right. I might grab a set of these after payday, just as soon as Christmas fades :jim

Ordered a set on Saturday! I have an older set of OTPs that are gassing out and damaging the finish on my goldtop.

imo there should be an even lighter color offered ...ivory.

I actually considered calling the bone color vintage ivory. The bone and cream colors I had made are matched to the lightest (bone) and darkest (cream) extremes of vintage plastic.

thanks but all i'm saying is the originals on my guitar are closer to being white than the bone color shown ..but then again, they've had very little exposure over the last 50+ years. :hmm
