R4 lower logo

This may be old news.
Just saw a '21 R4 on ebay with the lower position Gibson logo as on the vintage '54s, good to see this finally!!

No idea about that logo position change as a thing, non of the 2021 in the UK have the lower placed logo, cool though, shame seller is in Japan.

Mat Koehler mentioned in another thread that all 2022 R4s and R6s will now have the lower logo.

There was one at Chicago Music Exchange or MusicZoo (can't remember) that has the lower logo.

One of the big things that was always on my checklist for having an R4/R6, although I'd probably still want one to go through HM or Florian Jager to get the finish and Braz.

It was CME that has one. It has a 2021 serial number so they must’ve started late 2021.

I have a 2014 R4, and wouldn’t mind an R6, but I don’t have da funds right now <weep>
But this begs the question: will pre lower logo R4’s and 6’s take a hit in the used market ?

Yeah, it was probably Henry J's issue not to move it. I know he caused log-jam's in alot of areas.
