• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Beautiful guitar. I remember that issue, don't know where the poster is now. I wonder what the value of it was back in Oct. '82.

According to the text, Burst values were twenty to forty times $247.50, i.e. $5-10k in those days.

I recall seeing bursts in Guitar Trader (mid-late 80s) as high as $30-50K

I've got that poster up in my shop. It came from the original issue I got in `82. Great stuff!

Doh! I could swear I saw that (asking price at least) $$ in there, stopped getting Guitar Trader late 80s.

As Mr. Ganzler has often remarked, the 9-0600 series contains some truly remarkable maple.

I sold 30 or more from 1985 to 1995, so I remember the times when $20K+ became the norm. :)

Shucks - I guess I must be the only one who had this poster up for some time and then threw it away.

No, not likely. Unfortunately, this and many Farrah Fawcett and Zeppelin posters probably ended up in land fills around the world eventually! 🙃
