I picked this 52/56 up in a salvage shop a few years ago. It was there with the 2017/1957 LPGT pictured which I also bought. It had a broken headstock.... Buzz and Ian at Larkstreet set it straight and now it's a fine fiddle to say the least! Ian knocked it out of the park! The recommendation for Ian came from my post here all those years ago so thank you!.
It took me a bit to figure out what it actually was when I found it. In the end the trapeze footprints on the top and the very early output jack holes left no doubt.
Check it out in action here with The Renaissance Cartel. It's an epic solo guitar meets mad piano player. I am using a Reeves Custom 50.
