• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Also worth mentioning is how good ThroBak Broadcaster A5 Custom MXV Telecaster pickups are , as I have them loaded in my Pink Paisley Custom Shop Telecaster . These pickups are very hot esp. the Bridge which measures 9.9k and the neck pickup measures 7.1k . If you are using high gain amps go for the extra lamp black wax potting as I did . Really great Tele pickups !

I got a full set of Barden's back when Joe actually made them. Great pickups.

Lindy Fralin Vintage Hots is pretty much the end game for me, when it comes to Strat pickups. The fact is, you really can't go wrong with any of the boutique offerings that seek to replicate that signature sound. I also have a set of Duncan Antiquity II Surfers w/ custom bridge in one of my Strats - they sound great too!
